About the Museum Project...

The "berlin modern" museum is being built in one of the most interesting construction sites in Berlin: the Kulturforum, in close proximity to Potsdamer Platz, Tiergarten, the Philharmonie, and the Neue Nationalgalerie. In collaboration with the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation and the National Museums in Berlin, the museum will be realized by a large team of experts, based on the design of competition winners Herzog & de Meuron with Vogt Landscape Architects.

The museum will showcase internationally significant works of art from the 1900s to the end of the 20th century on approximately m2 of exhibition space. The interior of the building will also feature ticket-free areas, spaces for social interaction, education, and gastronomy.
