    Description

    Vaco Boston has partnered with our client that is seeking a Director of Cash Applications.

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    • Ensure accurate and timely application of customer payments while maintaining the data integrity for our customers' accounts receivable profiles
    • Manage checks or wire payments in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
    • Work with various depository banks and resolve potential errors and technical issues
    • Perform thorough and timely research and resolution of financial questions or concerns.
    • Conduct transactional research to achieve resolution to account inquiries
    • Provide excellent customer service via conducting, where necessary, detailed transactional research, obtain resolution, and effectively communicate with team partners or customers in a timely manner
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required, Master's Degree preferred
    • 5-7 years of relevant experience including exposure to accounting or finance, preferably within high volume settings
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel strongly preferred
    • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
    • Commitment to outstanding customer service, including the ability to effectively research and resolve customer inquiries
    • Outstanding communication both verbal and written.

    • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;

    With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
