- Develop and implement category strategies for T&E, Fleet and other indirect categories aligning with the company's overall business strategy.
- Lead the sourcing process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management successfully incorporating best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the procurement process meets their business requirements.
- Monitor market trends and analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to contract terms.
- Oversee risk management within the indirect categories, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate procurement with business systems and processes.
- Develop and manage budgets for the categories, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and coach junior associates and foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Proven experience of 8 years minimum in category management
- Strong negotiation skills & experience in contract management
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data & market trends
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage & motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of procurement systems and processes, & relevant regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously & meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify & implement effective solutions.
- Experience preferably in Travel & Entertainment category management
- Master's degree or relevant certification would be an advantage.
