    Here at Roami in South Florida the Maintenance Manager position is a crucial part of our team in managing our maintenance teams to ensure our guests have a memorable experience by doing whatever it takes to provide a problem-free stay

    The primary responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager will be through superb fieldwork, which includes (but not limited to): Supervising and coordinating all maintenance related tasks, projects, etc. for our South Florida Market.

    The Maintenance Manager's performance will be based on your ability to complete tasks efficiently manage and supervise, problem-solve independently, prioritize tasks, implement processes, and communicate effectively.

    Additionally, you can expect to do the following during your scheduled shifts:
    • Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
    • Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
    • Maintain all machinery to ensure it's at working standards.
    • Create and implement maintenance procedures.
    • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
    • Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
    • Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
    • Assign repair schedules and evaluate, repair cost estimates.
    • Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
    • Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
    • Assisting with check-in and check-out processes, handling reservations, and addressing guest concerns or complaints.
    • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
    • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
    • Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
    • Must be willing to "pitch in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Assisting in other departments if needed.
    • Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for duration of shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances between and within buildings on the property with or without reasonable accommodation.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.

    What We're Looking For:
    • At least 2 years Maintenance leadership work experience is strongly preferred.
    • Bilingual - Ability to speak & understand Spanish is strongly preferred.
    • Flexible schedule availability is required.
    • Organized, hardworking, ownership mentality and detail-oriented.
    • Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like , Airbnb, Trip Advisor, etc.
    • High energy, bubbly personality and customer service attitude.
    • Must have a service-oriented mindset and be capable of making every guest feel valued.
    • An ability to interact professionally and responsibly with guests, management and vendors.
    • A self-starter with a positive attitude, who has the ability to work effectively both in a team environment as well as independently.
    • Unintimidated by using mobile apps while in the field for team collaboration and communication (experience with Slack, Google Suite).
    • Flexible schedule and is open to working evenings, weekends and holidays.
    • Use of a personal vehicle, valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and proof of insurance are strongly preferred.
