    **About this role**

    The trust of our community and quality of our marketplace continues to be a top priority for Faire as we scale. We are looking for a Trust & Safety Manager who is excited to help build out the teams and processes that will enable us to uphold our marketplace standards and policies. In this role, you will hire and lead a team of Trust & Safety specialists to serve our community by responding to T&S escalations and scaling proactive marketplace quality processes. As an early member of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to work cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, Legal and Comms to help build the foundations of our Trust & Safety organization.

    **What youll do**

    Attract, hire, and develop a best-in-class Trust & Safety team

    Guide workforce management efforts and standardization to allow continued growth and stability of the team

    Guide and inspire your team to meet SLAs and KPIs

    Identify trends and continuously implement process and workflow improvements, including working with external vendors

    Develop expertise in how Faires processes and systems work, and how to use them to promote positive outcomes

    Develop clear feedback mechanisms between cross-functional partners, including Product and Data Science, to ensure we are building scalable solutions

    **Qualifications**

    Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years of people management experience

    Direct experience in Trust and Safety or related field, ideally for a marketplace business and/or high growth company

    Experience leading and driving cross-functional initiatives with varied stakeholders across Product, Data Science, Legal & Comms

    Experience working with global counterparts to deliver on org-and-company level goal

    You are detailed-oriented and can help us define and maintain a high-quality bar on Faire

    You are data-driven, capable of setting metrics and supervising progress against team objectives

    You are a team player and are resilient in the face of challenges, ambiguity, change

    You are empathetic and have the ability to take initiative in doing the right thing for the customer
