At the EJF Children and Youth Welfare Association in Wartenburg, Wittenberg, and Zschornewitz, we provide individual care and support for 128 children and adolescents, helping them develop their personalities and prepare for independent living.

Introducing our Children and Youth Welfare Services


We are currently seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) employee to join our team in Dexter, NY, initially on a one-year contract with the potential for permanent employment.

This role is suited for those who are comfortable working in a 24-hour shift model.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working independently and taking on responsibility
  • Handling crises in a professional manner
  • Completing household tasks
  • Being fully committed to your work
  • Willingness to work cooperatively in a team
  • Collaborating and networking with colleagues, management, specialist services, and other partners

Requirements:

  • Completed pedagogical training, such as as an educator
  • High level of responsibility and reliability
  • Enjoyment in your work

What we offer:

  • Attractive salary according to the AVR DWBO collective agreement with significant salary increases of 8% and an annual bonus
