    Job Title: Research Nurse Coordinator (RN)

    • Shift: Day Shift (Hours: 8-4:30pm) - No weekends or holidays

    Christiana Care Health System is looking for a skilled Research Nurse Coordinator with two years of Oncology Clinical experience to join our Cancer Research Department at the Helen F. Graham Center & Research Institute in Newark, DE.


    In this position, the Research Nurse Coordinator will be responsible for screening, enrolling, planning, implementing, and evaluating protocol-related care for research projects. They will follow specific protocol guidelines, collaborate with various stakeholders, and ensure the smooth execution of clinical research activities.

    The role involves frequent communication with healthcare professionals, sponsors, and government agencies, as well as interpreting and implementing complex protocols for multiple patients. The Research Nurse Coordinator will also mentor new staff and actively participate in clinical trials and conferences.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate all aspects of protocol treatment and monitoring
    • Create and maintain patient research charts
    • Precept and mentor new staff
    • Participate in Multidisciplinary Clinics and Tumor conferences
    • Collect, document, and report medical data

    Requirements:

    • DE RN License or Compact Nursing License
    • Minimum of two years of oncology experience
    • Certification in oncology nursing preferred
