    Description
    We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join our team
    Responsibilities:
    • Reception of clients and providing a welcoming environment.
    • Notifying clients of upcoming appointments and managing scheduling.
    • Retrieving clients from the waiting room for the Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD).
    • Secretarial tasks such as assembling and filing charts, as well as uploading documents to charts.
    • Conducting faxing activities efficiently.
    • Measuring vital signs accurately.
    • Assisting an authorized practitioner under direct and personal supervision to carry out specific tasks, serving as a "second set of hands."
    • Performing related duties as assigned.
    Requirements:
    • High School Diploma/GED.
    • Medical Assistant certification and/or degree.
    • Experience in working with individuals experiencing homelessness with histories of mental illness and/or substance abuse is preferred.
    • Basic computer literacy is required.
    • CPR training certification or a willingness to participate in a CPR training class.

    Hours: Monday- Friday, 9AM – 5PM
