    Maintenance Parts Clerk and Coordinator

    The Maintenance CMMS Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure the seamless operation of maintenance activities within our food manufacturing facility. This position plays a key role in the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing functional support of the CMMS, including system design, configuration, and testing.

    Pay and Shift
    $20-$26/hourly

    8AM-5PM

    Maintenance Parts Clerk and Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Must have a strong understanding of maintenance processes, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in utilizing CMMS software to track, schedule, and optimize maintenance tasks.
    • Provides technical assistance and training to users; and, ensures all CMMS procedures are developed, understood, and followed consistently
    • Responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating preventive and regular maintenance with minimal interruption to production operations.
    • Ensures that production units balance their need for daily output with their need of equipment reliability through proactive maintenance practices.
    • Utilizes reporting and analysis tools to leverage CMMS functionality.
    • Responsible for complying with food safety, food security, Quality, GMP's, HAACP, Allergen, and Sanitizer as well as other regulations as required.
    • Responsible for duplicating and communicating all safety and good manufacturing practices in accordance with company policy as well as all other company policies.
    • Place orders with vendors via phone and online platforms.
    • Assist other Departments as needed
    • Organize and maintain locations of all vendor and OEM parts.
    • Keep parts cage clean and organized.
    • Responsible for initiating purchase orders and entering these orders into E-Maint.
    • Must be able to work without close supervision.
    • Must track parts usage for inventory information and keep stocks at the appropriate levels.
    • Generate all new part inventory tags.
    • Check in all shipments and compare to all packing slips.
    • Ship out and track all part returns.
    • Meet with and assist outside vendors in reordering and stocking parts

    • Perform physical inventory of stocked parts as required but not less than once a year.
    • Maintain a computerized inventory system and preventative maintenance program (E-Maint).
    • Data entry of parts and preventative maintenance tasks into software (E-Maint).
    • Assist with unloading and moving of maintenance items delivered to the receiving department.
    • Maintain and generate maintenance work orders. Notify others when parts are received.
    • The Maintenance Lead or Manager will serve as back up for this position when necessary.
    • All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

    Maintenance Parts Clerk and Coordinator Competencies & Skill Requirements:

    • Strong organizational, analytical, technical and leadership skills; problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills, independent judgement skills, inter-personal and people management skills.
    • Must possess the ability and skills to effectively provide direction, lead and work in a diverse team environment and communicate in non-technical terms to non-technical individuals.
    • 1 year experience in a similar role in maintenance
    • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance


    Maintenance Parts Clerk and Coordinator Work Environment:

    • This is a food manufacturing facility. The environment may vary from warm to wet, to cold, to freezing, depending where you are in the plant.
