- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in accounting, audit, or other relevant professional capacity
- Experience working in emergency response, industrial, or environmental services (preferred)
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- SAP experience (preferred)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with large datasets
- Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and deductive reasoning skills required
- Recording and analyzing financial statements
- Daily balancing and reporting of cash
- Processing monthly journal entries
- Overseeing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes for accuracy and timeliness
- Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
- Review general ledger and processes for timeliness, accuracy, and completeness
- Provide KPI metrics to aid managers in assessing the profitability of individual business units
- Assist management with special projects as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of reports and assignments as necessary
