    Lakeville Area Schools is seeking highly skilled and experienced Kid Zone Child Care Instructors to oversee our dynamic before and after school programs. As a Kid Zone Child Care Instructor, you will play a crucial role in creating a secure and stimulating environment for elementary school children, while collaborating closely with staff and parents/guardians. Join our innovative school district where you can flourish in your elementary education career

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive lesson plans and curriculum that promote social and emotional development, with support from staff members
    • Organize and coordinate activities, including physical education/games and arts and crafts
    • Act as the primary point of contact for school personnel and parents/guardians, maintaining effective communication channels and addressing any concerns promptly

    Pay and Schedule:

    • Competitive hourly wage up to $24.81 per hour based on experience
    • Flexible scheduling options: before school shift from 6:15 am to 10 am and after school shift from 3 pm to 6 pm
    • Possibility to work before school, after school, or both shifts
    • Lead field trips on non-school days

    Benefits:

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in child care or early childhood education, or a degree in a related field
    • Prior experience in supervising a team is preferred

    • Completion of First Aid and CPR training before employment
