to join our Government Estimating Center of Excellence (ECOE) team in Huntsville, Alabama.
We are looking for a dynamic leader to help lead part of the Government Estimating organization. This leader will help drive functional excellence and create a culture of high performance.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead an estimating team in support of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) programManage government estimating employees performing estimates, cost or price proposals, business case development and risk, financial and competitive analysesEngage with customers from various programs, sites, and business units, such as the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), regarding matters concerning estimates, proposals, and the estimating systemDevelop process improvements with the goal of improving efficiency, quality, compliance, and customer satisfactionIdentify, collect and monitor appropriate metrics to ensure strong performanceCreate development plans for team members including coaching, mentoring, knowledge transfer, developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilitiesEstablish partnerships and relationships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reportsAcquire resources for functional excellence activities, provide technical management and lead process improvementsProvide oversight and approval of technical approaches, data driven strategies, products, and processesManage, develop and motivate employees and peersThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher1+ years of experience in managing or leading people or teams1+ years of experience working with cross functional teams5+ years of experience in a Finance, Accounting, Business or related rolePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
