    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and serve various coffee and espresso beverages like lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, and specialty drinks following standard recipes and guest preferences.
    • Ensure quality and consistency in beverage preparation, including espresso extraction, milk frothing, and presentation.
    • Welcome guests warmly, handle orders accurately, and offer recommendations based on preferences and menu offerings.
    • Operate coffee-making equipment precisely and efficiently, ensuring safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the coffee bar area to provide a safe and hygienic environment.
    • Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and supplies, and report any shortages to the appropriate supervisor.
    • Adhere to company standards for beverage presentation, garnishes, and branding.
    • Provide friendly and attentive customer service, engage with guests, and address questions or concerns promptly and courteously.
    • Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge in coffee preparation techniques, customer service, and product knowledge.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in coffee preparation or hospitality is advantageous.
    • Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar role in a coffee shop, café, or restaurant.
    • Passion for coffee and a good understanding of different coffee types, brewing methods, and flavors.
    • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests of diverse preferences.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in beverage preparation, ensuring consistent quality.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
    • Strong communication skills in English with an openness to other languages.
    • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation.
