    FinOps Developer

    Hybrid (3 days on-site) in Greenwood Village, CO

    Contract with possibility for extension or conversion

    $45-$53/hour DOE

    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level FinOps Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance operations (FinOps) with expertise in data analysis visualization using Tableau, SQL, and data interaction. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, optimizing financial processes, and developing insightful visualizations to aid decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
    • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize financial metrics and KPIs effectively.
    • Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
    • Automate data processes and workflows to streamline financial operations and reporting.
    • Support and expertise in financial data interpretation and analysis to stakeholders across the organization.
    • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in FinOps, data analysis, and visualization.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience in finance operations or financial analysis roles.
    • Proficiency in Tableau for developing interactive dashboards and visualizations.
    • Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and performance optimization.
    • Experience with data manipulation tools and techniques (e.g., Python, R, Pandas) is a plus.
    • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
    • Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and driving business impact through data analysis.
    • Detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
    • Ability to work under limited direction and in a very dynamic environment.
