Penguin Random House is seeking a motivated Associate Analyst to join our Business Operations team based in Westminster, Maryland. This position is remote.


Responsibilities in this role:


  • Works with the Operations Financial Planning & Analysis team to prepare budgets & forecasts
  • Develop and monitor annual business plans
  • Prepares summary and analysis of operating expenses
  • Process monthly financial close entries
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations
  • Interact with internal and external customers
  • Prepares a variety of variance analysis reports
  • Works on special projects as assigned
  • Excellent financial and operational analysis skills
  • Must be accurate and detail oriented
  • Ability to work extra hours
  • AA/BS degree preferred. Will consider relevant work experience. New and upcoming graduates welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office programs.
