Penguin Random House is seeking a motivated Associate Analyst to join our Business Operations team based in Westminster, Maryland. This position is remote.

Responsibilities in this role:

Works with the Operations Financial Planning & Analysis team to prepare budgets & forecasts
Develop and monitor annual business plans
Prepares summary and analysis of operating expenses
Process monthly financial close entries
Prepare monthly account reconciliations
Interact with internal and external customers
Prepares a variety of variance analysis reports
Works on special projects as assigned
Excellent financial and operational analysis skills
Must be accurate and detail oriented
Ability to work extra hours
AA/BS degree preferred. Will consider relevant work experience. New and upcoming graduates welcome to apply.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office programs.
