    Job Description

    Overview: The Senior Backend Engineer has a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for crafting, building, and upholding the backend framework of our software applications. This position is crucial for ensuring the scalability, safety, and efficiency of our systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Designing and developing resilient and protected backend services and APIs.
    • Collaborating with front-end developers to fuse user-facing elements with server-side logic.
    • Enhancing applications for optimal speed and scalability.
    • Constructing and preserving database schemas, indexes, and queries.
    • Conducting code assessments and offering valuable feedback to team members.
    • Implementing security and data safeguarding strategies.
    • Monitoring and enhancing system performance.
    • Resolving technical issues through debugging.
    • Staying informed about industry trends and superior practices.
    • Cooperating closely with diverse teams to define, devise, and introduce new functionalities.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated background as a Backend Engineer or in a similar capacity.
    • Sound comprehension of backend technologies such as {Block}Python, or Java.
    • Proficiency in managing databases (SQL, NoSQL).
    • Experience with the design and execution of RESTful APIs.
    • Rigorous understanding of microservices architecture.
    • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
    • Capability to thrive in a dynamic, cooperative environment.
    • Superb communication and collaborative skills.
    • Proficiency with test-driven development and continuous integration.
    • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
    • Thorough understanding of version control systems like Git.
    • Capability to mentor and lead junior team members.
