    Job Description

    Job DescriptionOverview:As a Senior Backend Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend systems that power our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and high-performance solutions while ensuring the security and reliability of our backend infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop robust and scalable backend systems
    • Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
    • Collaborate with frontend and mobile app developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
    • Create and maintain APIs for seamless integration with external services
    • Manage and optimize databases for performance and reliability
    • Implement security and data protection measures
    • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
    • Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure for backend services
    • Identify and address technical debt and performance bottlenecks
    • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of backend applications
    • Stay updated with industry best practices and technologies in backend development
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
    • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their technical growth
    • Participate in the recruitment and interviewing process for backend engineering roles
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and standards
    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
    • Proven experience as a backend developer or similar role
    • Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Python, or
    • Experience with relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis
    • Expertise in designing and building RESTful APIs
    • Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
    • In-depth knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices
    • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
    • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems and applications
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
    • Experience working in Agile environments and using Agile methodologies
    • Track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions
    • Previous experience in mentoring or leading a team of engineers is a plus
