Description
Position SummaryA Material HandlerCollaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
Engages with drivers with a positive attitude.
Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
Ability to uncrate wooden crates Ability to build wooden shipping crates. RequirementsKnowledge, Skills and EducationHigh School graduate or equivalent.
Able to drive forklifts, use overhead cranes, and knowledge of rigging.
Ability to read a tape measure and scale rulerExperience using power toolsTrouble shooting experienceDemonstrated mechanical aptitudeAbility to read and comprehend simple instructionsUse of standard SAE hand toolsStrong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills are requiredBasic math skills are requiredMaintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with company policies and proceduresPersonal Skills/Attributes Required for the PositionVersatile and willing to help the manufacturing team while also putting safety as a top priority.
