    Description

    The Director, Aftermarket Operations is responsible for driving accountability and maximizing efficiency within the North American Aftermarket operations including warehousing, planning and transportation. Major areas of responsibilities will be implementing and ensuring compliance to KPI's in efficiency, customer service and employee safety.

    What You Need to Know:

    • Develop and execute a strategic vision for the supply chain operations in North America, encompassing planning, warehousing, and transportation of aftermarket parts and accessories.
    • Drive initiatives to enhance warehouse and logistics operations, including processes for inbound and outbound material handling as well as pick and pack processes. Exploring new technologies and best practices in transportation and warehousing.
    • Lead and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, particularly targeting inventory operations efficiency.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and market demands.
    • Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
    • Oversee inventory management, forecasting, and demand planning to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize shortages.
    What We Are Looking For:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Proven experience (10+ years) in supply chain management, preferably in the automotive/industrial [or relevant industry] sector with a focus on aftermarket parts and accessories.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, negotiate contracts, and build strategic partnerships.
    • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools; familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
    • Willingness to travel as necessary.
