    POSITION SUMMARY:
    Cross Insurance is seeking a Project Manager (PM) Intern that will support the Project Management Office team. The intern will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Project Managers and other project professionals.

    The PM intern will gain exposure to a variety of information technology and business operations projects over the summer and see multiple projects at various stages from initiation through development, launch, and final transition to support.

    This candidate brings an ambitious spirit, independent and creative thinking, and leadership through collaboration and influence.

    REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Help improve / develop the PM tool, , by managing user accounts, building new templates, maintaining current templates, troubleshooting issues, and helping with overall platform optimization.
    • Co-manage a project alongside a Project Manager

    This would include:
    a.
    Supporting the Project Manager through various phases of the project lifecycle.
    b.
    Assist in scheduling project meetings, developing meetings agendas, co-hosting meetings, and scribing the meeting minutes.
    c.
    Prepare and assist in project documentation such as scope document, charter, project schedule, RAID log, procedures, and policies.

    • Shadow members of the Project Management Office to gain understanding of all aspects of Project Management and Portfolio Management.
    • Complete Project Management and other training modules as requested.
