Working days: 5 working days spread over Mon-Sat (compensatory day for work on Saturday)

As part of this role, you will support the Workplace Health & Safety Manager in identifying hazards in the workplace and implementing safety and health concepts according to both legal and company requirements.

You will ensure the implementation and compliance of Workplace Health & Safety guidelines.

You will assess workstations, changes in work processes, and technical installations and advise individual departments on the implementation of occupational safety measures.

You will work closely with the Workplace Health & Safety Manager and the management team at the site, advising and supporting all employees on occupational safety and health protection.

Key job responsibilities

  • Conducting hazard assessments under expert guidance
  • Supporting departments in creating operating instructions
  • Advising employees and management on occupational safety
  • Collaboration with the works council and company doctor
  • Implementation of legal and Amazon internal requirements in occupational safety
  • Collaboration with support departments
  • Preparation and followup of occupational safety committee meetings and support of safety officers
  • Accompanying and supporting in operational health management
