Job Summary

Our innovative client seeks a Senior Database Developer proficient in MySQL 8 for large-scale enterprise setups, emphasizing AWS expertise, especially with AWS Aurora.

Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing database systems, collaborating on integration with AWS services, continuous SQL query optimization, and ensuring data security and integrity within AWS environments.

The role involves staying current with AWS developments, enforcing standards, and establishing proactive monitoring systems.
Requirements
4+ years of professional experience as a Database Developer, focusing on MySQL 8 and AWS
Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling
Previous work in high-concurrency, large-scale enterprise environments
Proficiency in SQL and adeptness in query optimization techniques
Experience with AWS services, particularly AWS Aurora
Knowledge of database security best practices within AWS environments
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication abilities and capacity to collaborate across teams
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Familiarity with other AWS services and cloud-based database solutions is advantageous
