    We have five campuses in metropolitan Bostonand plans for additional housing for older adults soon.

    Responsible forresearch, planning, organization, budget/expenditure, on-sitemanagement, and post-event follow-up and reporting across a wide rangeof fundraising, advocacy, community, and other organizational events.

    Collaborating with stakeholders across 2Life, the Events Manager plays akey role in helping 2Life share its story and develop meaningfulengagements with donors, policymakers, community leaders, residents, andboard members.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS ? Manage 2Life?s annual eventscalendar in collaboration with (but not limited to) 2Life?s fundraising,marketing, advocacy, and real estate departments.

    ? Manage a portfolioof small to midsize (\400 attendees) events, including 2Life?s annualfundraising gala, ground-breakings, ribbon-cuttings, lecture series,donor gatherings, and other events as needed.

    ? Handle and execute allaspects of event planning and execution, including vendor management,budgeting, site selection, content and program management, audio/visualproduction, registration, logistics, and post-event evaluation.

    ?Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders across 2Life?s fundraising,marketing, advocacy, resident, real estate, property staff, andexecutive functions, ensuring brand and messaging consistency across allevents.

    ? Drive internal communications and stakeholder engagement toensure broad awareness of upcoming events, needs, expected outcomes, andevent success metrics. ? Conduct ongoing monitoring and evaluation ofindustry best practices to bring innovative ideas to maximize engagementand participant value. ? Manage budget, procurement, and invoice/expensetracking and reconciliation, ensuring that resources are allocatedoptimally.

    ? Serve as an expert consultant for groups proposing newevents, helping to conduct cost-benefit analyses, tease out desiredgoals, and brainstorm best practices.

    ? Other responsibilities asassigned. PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES ? 5-7+ years ofevent management experience, preferably in the nonprofit environment. ?Demonstrated experience executing a variety of events acrosswide-ranging goals, audiences, and stakeholders. ? Experience inSalesforce, GiveSmart, and / or other donor and event management tools.? Exceptional organizational, communication, and project managementskills. ? Proven ability to navigate working relationships acrossmultiple teams with diverse goals. ? Ability to thrive in a passionate,fast-paced environment, with the confidence to engage at all levels ofthe organization. ? Proven track record with participating in cross-teamprogram management and high attention to detail. ? Autonomous andflexible work style, capable of managing moving targets and makingindependent decisions when necessary in a highly collaborativeenvironment.
