Description

**IT Operations Security Engineer**

Join us as we seek a talented IT Operations Security Engineer for our client's IT department. In this role, you'll be instrumental in driving Cloud and Cyber Security initiatives, administering and implementing configurations in Azure, M365, and other cloud service providers to safeguard data and respond to security incidents.

**Responsibilities:**

Lead continuous monitoring and security operations of Azure and M365 cloud solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop secure and scalable architectures.

Architect and implement identity and access management, vulnerability management, and security operations solutions.

Analyze IT environments to address vulnerabilities and integrate security controls.

Stay updated on Azure and M365 changes and compliance requirements.

Contribute to security incident response (IR) team and improve IR playbooks.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams.

**Qualifications:**

Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 4 years of experience in Windows/Cloud Security Engineering.

Excellent understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure.

Experience with PCI and NIST-CSF compliance requirements.

Strong knowledge of identity and access management principles and tools.

Expertise in cloud security practices and risk assessments.

Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or Azure Security Engineer Associate preferred.

Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools.
