DESC Power Generation Industrial Control System Patching
The Engineer will perform security patch services on Industrial Control Systems at various locations in South Carolina.
They will gather the necessary system information to determine the applicable patches, perform backups, distribute executables to the impacted systems, and install Operating System patches, antivirus definitions, and application patches using the tools and procedures provided by DESC.
Activities will occur on-site and from the Transmission Operations Center in Cayce, SC, with plant coordination.The objective would be to patch all the systems every 6 months.
Business hours to perform work will vary from site to site, with start times varying from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and ending from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
