    About the role:
    Gen3 is looking for a Project Manager to support our client, UNICOR. As a Project Manager, you will supervise the implementation of automated processes and tools and enhance the awareness and efficiency of ISSOs in their roles in support of UNICOR's various programs.

    Location: Hybrid-remote, Washington, D.C.

    What you'll do:

    • Manage the provision of expertise and services in developing a framework for UNICOR's programs.
    • Oversee the development of a continuous monitoring reporting program to provide status reports on UNICOR-supported systems/ applications and supported efforts.
    • Develop a framework for UNICOR programs and oversee continuous monitoring reporting.
    • Provide training and knowledge transfer for program development.
    • Develop approaches to measure security controls' effectiveness.
    • Serve as primary contact for the government on contract performance.
    • Lead teams to ensure project completion on time.
    • Create and deliver project status presentations.
    • Develop or update project plans, and monitor costs, milestones, and deadlines.
    What you'll need:
    • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 4 years of related and relevant experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
    • Relevant certification in project management (e.g., PMP).
    • Strong understanding of FISMA, OMB A-123, and NIST SP800-53 controls.
    What's desired to have:
    • Previous experience supporting federal or state agencies, especially UNICOR, DOJ or the prison system is highly desired.

    *Position is pending contract award.

    Employment eligibility: Eligible to work for any employer in the United States without requiring sponsorship. Most of our positions require a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder for consideration. Certain positions require at least three (3) of the past five (5) years of residence in the United States.

    Other requirements:

    • A minimum of three (3) out of the past five (5) years of residency in the United States is mandatory.
    • Candidates must possess either an active green card or citizenship.
    • Prospective employees offered a position must have work authorization that does not necessitate employer-sponsored visa sponsorship, both presently and in the future.
    • Those selected for this role may undergo a government security investigation and must meet the eligibility criteria for accessing classified information or be eligible for security clearances.
