For our client, a renowned Tier1 automotive supplier, we are currently seeking a Logistics Manager (m/f/d) for their location in the Alpine Northwest region.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and management of all material and information flow processes at the location
- Continuous improvement of process flows, including warehouse and transportation technology
- Responsibility for logistics/production planning, scheduling, warehouse management, and shipping
- Budget and personnel planning
- Leadership of the logistics team, including the JustinTime (JIT) team, as well as training and development
- Cost responsibility and investment planning
- Ensuring material supply for internal and external customers and adapting to their flexible demands
- Calculation and compliance with logistics key figures
- Implementation of continuous improvement measures
- Responsibility for process and product optimization in terms of productivity, profitability, and quality
- Close collaboration with internal interfaces (controlling/industrial engineering/production/HR)
Profile:
- Completed university degree in business engineering or business administration with a focus on logistics, or similar experience
- Automotive experience, including JIT supply, ideally in a corporate environment
- Several years of leadership experience, preferably in an international context
- Methodological competence and entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience with supply concepts
- Fluent in German and very good knowledge of English (written and spoken
