    Description


    Drive Mechanical Engineering activities in a cross-sectional hardware team Model, build, test, and refine prototypes and characterization test systems Work across the full product development cycle, from concept inception to shipping product Apply rigorous engineering and tolerance techniques to high precision design requirements in the areas such as Optics, Mechanics Experience with mechanical and optics metrology devices such as CMM, OMM, interferometry Experience in development of tools for testers from concept to final product Knowledge of manufacturing techniques (Machining, 3D printing, injection molding, etc) Knowledge of optics component mounting, interfaces, adhesive bonding Knowledge of materials and structural modeling/ optimization Knowledge and application of GD&T techniques and associated metrology approaches Knowledge of optical metrology instruments (imaging, colorimeter, spectrometer, etc) Experience with design and prototyping of head mounted Hands-on experience with lenses, camera, binoculars, monoculars Experience with design verification, test fixture qualification procedures, statistical analysis, Gage R&R Understanding of CAD modeling Select and follow up procurement and prototype build on-site Manage inventory and support prototype manufacturing, resolve design of manufacturing issues Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
