Job Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in high-volume, consumer product development.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated examples of taking ideas into production; designed to reliability/environmental specifications; worked with external part and contract manufacturing suppliers.

This job requires the ability to work on-site 5 days a week in Redmond, WA.

Qualifications/Skills
Required
BS Mechanical engineering
Four or more years of product development experience in an interdisciplinary team environment
Working knowledge of mechanical tolerance analysis
Proficiency with Creo Parametric (ProE) CAD
Experience with rapid prototyping methods

Preferred
Experience designing for various manufacturing techniques (Machining, Injection Molding, Metal forming, etc.)
Knowledge of methods for design optimization (such as weight, cost reduction, environmental testing, etc.)
Working knowledge of plastic resin and metal material properties and finishing methods
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
