    Puget Sound Home Health & Hospice is a Medicare-certified, 4.5 Star Rating agency serving King, Pierce, and Thurston County that is seeking afull-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Pierce County.     What do we require of you?


    • A graduate of an OT assistant program accredited by ACOTE, AOTA, or any successor organization of the ACOTE.
    • Minimum of one year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
    • Understands home health philosophy and issues of an aging population.
    • Demonstrates good verbal/written communication and organization skills.
    • Possesses and maintains current CPR Certification.
    • Be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order.
    What does a Home Health COTA do?


    • Participates in ongoing evaluation of patient's functional status & home environment as delegated by registered occupational therapist.
    • Participates in teaching new skills or retraining in patient ADLs.
    • Follows treatment program to ensure predicted outcomes.
    • Provides accurate & timely documentation consistent with plan of care.
    • Participates in interdisciplinary coordination of home health services.
