Job Summary:

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
Instruct and educate patients on exercises and techniques for improving mobility and strength
Aid in the implementation of therapeutic exercises and modalities
Evaluate patients' progress and report findings to the Physical Therapist
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress
Ensure a clean and safe treatment environment for patients

Qualifications and Skills:

Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
State licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
