270076 - Physical Therapy Assistant - Tacoma, WA - 13 Weeks Contract

Sigma Healthcare Team is currently seeking a skilled PTA to deliver Physical Therapy services for patients under the guidance of a licensed PT while maintaining positive relationships with facilities and clients.

Shift: Monday to Friday, Daytime

Responsibilities:

• Optimize patients' functional abilities by assisting in screenings, evaluations, and treatment implementation as directed by the physical therapist
• Provide supervision to rehab techs and contribute to integrating physical therapy into facility treatment plans
• Enhance clinical and professional skills through education and training activities
• Maintain valid state license and stay informed about physical therapy profession
• Comprehend billing and treatment guidelines for quality care delivery
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Travel between facilities and work varied shifts as needed
• Complete assigned duties as required

Requirements:

• Completion of Competency Checklist before patient care
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize effectively
• Graduate of an APTA accredited physical therapy school
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic Internet navigation
• Valid state license for Physical Therapy Assistant
• Experience with Rehab Optima preferred
