The commercial business analyst will manage the key day-to-day activities related to managing our business analytics, data, and insights. This role will report to the SVP of Sales Operations and Enablement. Knowledge of the consumer-packaged goods and specifically alcohol beverage industry, and distributor network is preferred. We are looking for an individual who is proactive, can do attitude and action oriented for this position. Applicants should be self-starters, have positive disposition, and capable of managing and engaging in a variety of sales, marketing, and operational activities.

Relevant Experience: Candidates who have previous experience working with consumer products' syndicated data, such as alcohol brands, consumer packaged goods, or retail products. You must have a solid understanding of the industry and be familiar with syndicated data sources and research methodologies.

Data Analysis Skills: Candidates who are proficient in analyzing and interpreting data. Candidates should be able to extract meaningful insights from syndicated consumer data and have experience using statistical software and data visualization tools.

Research Skills: Must have strong research skills, including the ability to gather and analyze market trends, competitor data, and consumer behavior insights. They should be able to design and execute research projects and effectively communicate findings.

Technical Proficiency: Candidates who have experience working with relevant software tools and platforms used in the field, such as Nielsen or IRI syndicated data systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools is also desirable.

Strong Communication: Candidates who can effectively communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They should be able to present insights and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.

Detail-oriented: You have to be someone that carries attention to detail and have a strong focus on accuracy in data analysis. You should be able to spot trends and patterns in large datasets and identify data discrepancies or anomalies.

Problem-solving Skills: Candidates who demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and can think critically to solve complex data-related challenges. They should be able to provide innovative solutions and make data-driven recommendations.

Collaborative Team Player: Candidates who work well in a team environment and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. They should be able to contribute to a collaborative and supportive work culture.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, analytics, statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in a strategic analytics role within the consumer goods or alcohol beverage industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing analytics team.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software.
Proficient computer skills and experience to include Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, VIP, Karma Notes, NetSuite, and TABS/Nielsen.
