    Summary: Seeking an IP Network Operations Specialist to provide technical support and network troubleshooting within a large private communications network.

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Networking, Information Technology, or related field with 2-4 years of related experience, or an Associate's degree with a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
    • 2 years of telecommunications network troubleshooting experience.
    • CCNA Certification or must obtain within 3 months of start date.
    • Flexibility for a 24x7 network control environment, including shift and workday adaptability.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Layer 1 troubleshooting experience.
    • Experience in telecommunication call centers.
    • Familiarity with maintaining high service levels in a customer support services environment.
    • Knowledge of physical layer and routed technologies.
    • Proficiency with Network Management systems and tools.
    • Experience in remote maintenance and repair of CISCO network equipment.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide first-line technical support for calls from customers and field operations into the operations center.
    • Log calls and conduct preliminary investigations of network issues.
    • Create trouble tickets and initiate workflows for problem resolution.
    • Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot network problems using network management and monitoring tools.
    • Employ various test methods to analyze fractional Enterprise Data networks including T1, T3, Ethernet, IP, and RF.
    • Interpret equipment alarms and take steps towards service restoration.
    • Coordinate with internal and external groups to resolve network issues and interact with customers to maintain service continuity.
    Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
