    Our company is seeking a Diesel Mechanic. This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on all makes and models of trucks. In addition to making repairs, you will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on diesel engines, brakes, transmission, and other systems. Applicants need a valid driver's license and must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Company offers paid health insurance, paid vacation and 401K matching benefits. This position is offering part time to full-time work that is 40 plus hours a week.

    Diesel Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities

    • Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines
    • Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems
    • Perform preventative maintenance
    • Perform welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment as necessary
    • Prepare work orders and order parts
    • Maintain a clean and safe workplace

    Diesel Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
    • Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
    • Diesel technician or mechanic degree a plus
    • Experience with small diesel engine repair
    • Experience with Scan tools and OEM software
    • Knowledge of emission systems
    • Some welding experience required
    • Mechanical skills
    • Basic computer skills
    • Basic math skills
