    Do not send cloud engineers, need networking security automation people with configuration as code or infrastructure as a code. As client is having interview times for Friday and next week

    Must have:
    heavy infrastructure doing installs and configuration, packing products to move a bunch at a time, and python. Manager said you should see configuration as code or infrastructure as a code.

    -ping directory is a product they use and customize for infrastructure (has a couple but that was one example, they all run direct on the server not the cloud) essentially a phone directory for wf external customers
    -needs to lift and shift the app to new data center and automate it on premises
    -must haves: heavy infrastructure background (infrastructure as code - bundling configuration changes) packing products to move a bunch at a time
    -no chef or puppet
    -must know python for automation, tweak configure installs
    -not actually in production support, this person is automating what they're doing manually

    • Perl or shel scripting (ruby is a N2H)
    -ping directory major N2H can train on this, super niche usually goes with LDAP. Ping is only used for enterprise level

    • Active Directory is for small companies, not the same
    -secure network section is where all these roles fall. Ansible, GitHub CI/CD are all technologies they don't have yet in this group but are big nice to haves because they can use it to script the migration of data centers
    -doesn't need a true prod support person, already has that
