Your tasks at ÖKOBIT

  • As an automation engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and programming the control systems and human-machine interfaces of our biogas plants in Kenilworth.
  • You will review circuit diagrams, coordinate with switchgear manufacturers, and carry out on-site commissioning with configuration and setup of PLC components, fieldbus systems, switchgear, control systems, and plant networks.
  • You will also accompany the expert inspections following commissioning.
  • To fulfill these tasks, you will regularly travel to Germany and France.

What you bring:

  • You have completed a vocational training in electrical engineering or mechatronics with further education as a technician or specialization in automation.
  • You have some experience with programmable controllers (Freelance, Step7, or CoDeSys).
  • You are a team player, motivated, and flexible, and work with a high level of personal responsibility.
  • Knowledge of French in spoken and written form is advantageous, but not mandatory.
