    Job Description

    Job Title:
    TAR Project Scheduler

    Type of Position:
    3 to 4 month project initially. This role may lead to future opportunities too.

    Job Location:
    Freeport, TX

    Compensation:
    $64.28/hr. Overtime paid at 1.5x over 40 hours (expect regular overtime, especially in the execution phase).

    Benefits:

    Job Description / Duties:
    HRU Technical Resources is working with a major organization in chemical, research, and agriculture to hire a TAR Project Scheduler in Freeport, TX.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide Primavera P6 schedule support for maintenance outages.
    • Work independently on outage projects and scheduling efforts.
    • Participate in planning, develop detailed schedules, track progress, identify delays, and support reporting.
    • Conduct Critical Path Analysis.
    • Assess projects for performance issues and provide solutions.
    • Generate schedule reports and ad hoc reports as needed.
    • Assist in tool development and provide training to project team members.

    Required Skills / Experience:

    • Minimum 8 years of experience.
    • Minimum 5 years of scheduling/planning experience in chemical, petrochemical, or similar environment.
    • Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
    • Strong technical knowledge in project planning and scheduling.
    • Proficient in Primavera P6, computer skills, and attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical, communication, initiative, and collaborative skills.

    Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
    - 1st (day) shift role. Work hours may vary based on project phase.
    - Offer is subject to background check and drug screen (including cannabis screening).
