milkrite | InterPuls is a global leader providing complete milking point solutions to dairy farmers across the world with the aim of improving every farm it touches.
Our products that we manufacture include over 150 different types of dairy inflations to fit most brands and types of shells, as well as, tubing, claws, filters, and a variety of other products for the dairy parlor.
Summary of Position:
To be the expert in the Quality processes and their implementation, combined with defining the audit process and ensuring all data is managed in a clear and readily utilized format.
You will be capable of working with Operators, Shift Leaders, Tooling & Process Technicians and the Tooling and Manufacturing Engineers in ensuring that the products manufactured by MI meet the standards expected of a world class dairy manufacturing facility.
You will be an active participant in NPI (APQP) projects helping to ensure that the design and manufacture is delivered with a key focus on the customer, and that the appropriate quality processes are implemented throughout the business.
If a concern gets in or out of the site, then you will be responsible for leading the resolution team.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Degree in an Engineering discipline or significant experience as an alternative
Language
English
Ability to speak, read and write confidently.
Experience of manufacturing-based Quality tools
Control Plan (CP)
Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
Structured Problem Solving (e.g. 8D)
Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Develop or has experience developing a QMS program
Experience in creating and auditing within an ISO 9001 framework
Competent and confident in the use of Microsoft Products e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams etc
Have, or prepared to work towards, six sigma green belt qualification
Flexibility to work additional hours when required
