    How youll make an impact:

    The Manager, App Curation will be responsible for the day-to-day editorial merchandising of the music content produced by the Music Programming team on the SiriusXM app. The successful candidate will help users discover SiriusXMs music offerings through thoughtful packaging, promotion and editorial contextualizing. Youll be expected to make data-informed decisions, bringing your extensive pop cultural knowledge and curatorial experience to bear as you determine what, where, when, and how the hundreds of channels, shows, and videos are highlighted and presented on our app. Were looking for someone with a broad knowledge of music, across multiple genres. The ideal candidate understands the drivers of each genre and how to engage their core audiences. You stay on top of culturally relevant, timely, and topical events. You are able to effectively enroll teammates in their plans whether through an elevator pitch, a PowerPoint deck, or a detailed development meeting. You will need to manage a combination of short, medium, and long-term projects simultaneously.

    What youll do:

    • Curate the wealth of SiriusXMs music content for a wide range of customer profiles and affinities.
    • Update and maintain a long-lead editorial calendar, identify promotional opportunities.
    • Serve as day-to-day liaison between the Music Programming team to ensure our in-app promotions line up with their top priorities, and vice versa.
    • Stay current with the latest trends in music and pop culture to identify editorial packaging opportunities in-app. Develop innovative promotions, highlighting the elements that distinguish us.
    • Seek out and make data-informed decisions
    • Assist with A/B testing and general tracking needs as it relates to mapping analytics and learnings back to a promotional schedule.

    What youll need:

    • 5+ years of experience, with the majority being spent in digital curation
    • History of measurably successful creative campaigns
    • Advanced data literacy
    • Background in audience development
    • Deep and broad musical knowledge
    • Proven excellent judgement in applying currational guidelines to content
    • Superior organizational and time management skills
    • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
    • Detail-oriented and committed to excellence
    • Ability to work in a team environment and in person
    • Thorough knowledge of MS O?ce Suite
    • Experience with Content Management Systems
    • Experience with Tableau, Photoshop, and GTD systems
    • Must have legal right to work in US

    At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $60,000 to $80,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
