    We would love to have you join Sourcing, a truly superpowered sourcing team aligned throughout the enterprise, all with the customer at the heart of what we doAbout the Job...As a Senior Analyst, Food Sourcing, your expertise, vision, and strategy will allow you to create businesses in the Packaged or Fresh Foods division.

    You'll have the opportunity to develop complex sourcing strategies for existing products while also working with Product Developers to create new and innovative products.

    You'll work directly with Merchants to ensure critical business metrics are met while influencing future growth strategies to help our customers Save Money and Live Better.

    The job responsibilities will be comparable to a Senior Manager level; however, this role will manage 2-3 smaller and less complex categories than a Senior Manager.

    We will be pooling our interview candidates across total Food, assessing which candidate fits the open roles best.
    What will you do...

    Collaborate to set the sourcing strategy:
    you'll establish strategy, manage budgets to drive profitable growth, and use vision and creativity to impact the customer experience

    Build relationships:
    you'll use your influencing and leadership skills to build partnerships with suppliers, merchants, and business fluence decisions: you'll collaborate with merchants to influence decisions about nearly every aspect of your products including replenishment, supply chain, manufacturers, store operations, planning, assortment, layouts, budgets, modular and pricing

    Design, develop, and launch products:
    you'll work with Product Development to create new products for Private Brands

    Be a category expert:

    you'll know your private brand customers and suppliers better than anyone and are always thinking about what is next for your business.

    You'll sweep us off our feet if...You have a passion for developing successful and complex businesses and have an attention to detail in the business fundamentals of sourcing, finance, and supply chain.

    You know what motivates manufacturers, merchants, & customers and can integrate those perspectives into successful business opportunities.

    You can build strong relationships and influence those around you at all levels and have demonstrated success leveraging cross functional teams.


    You are data savvy:
    you can identify sourcing solutions, analyze commodity trends, and translate results into strategies to support merchants.
    You have category management and negotiation expertise, specifically in produce, packaging, and food ingredients.
    You possess natural curiosity to learn beyond the minimum requirements to perform role.


    Minimum education and experience required:
    bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business, Engineering or related field plus 3 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, merchandising or related field

    Skills required:

    Must have experience with:
    Advanced Microsoft Suite.
    Project management and planning.
    You have proven negotiation skills.
    Merchandising experience.
    Analytical skills.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    optional preferred qualifications for this position:Experience with the commodity industry.
    Experience sourcing ingredients and packaging material.
    Experience in manufacturing or processing industry.
