    Join Our Team as a Financial Reporting Analyst at Del Monte Fresh Produce!

    Purpose of Position:

    This role, reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, involves assisting in preparing the annual Form 10-K and quarterly Form 10-Q. This includes creating consolidated financial statements, footnote disclosures, and MD&A. In addition, you will be responsible for researching technical accounting issues, staying updated on US GAAP and SEC regulations, helping Investor Relations with accurate earnings releases, collaborating with auditors, and working on special projects as needed.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support in preparing external financial reports such as SEC Form 10-Q and 10-K
    • Review investor communications to ensure accuracy
    • Assist in XBRL tagging of financial statements
    • Help prepare cash flow statements and employee benefit plan financial statements
    • Contribute to goodwill/intangible asset assessments and impairment reviews
    • Collaborate with auditors and assist with audit requests
    • Perform financial statement analytics and prepare necessary schedules
    • Work on areas like derivatives, share-based compensation, and earnings per share
    • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives
    • Conduct accounting research and draft technical memos
    • Participate in special projects as required

    Requirements:

    • BS degree in Accounting or related field
    • CPA or equivalent certification
    • 5+ years of experience in accounting, including public accounting
    • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Highly organized with great attention to detail
    • Effective communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    • Team player with a proactive attitude
