    Healix Infusion Care is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join their team at an Ambulatory Infusion Center in Brentwood, MO.

    Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist

    Location: Brentwood, MO

    Responsibilities

    • Access referral/order information from community physicians, confirm service locations with patients, and enter data into our EHR system.
    • Schedule patient appointments based on treatment and staff schedules.
    • Handle incoming calls and relay patient queries to clinical staff when needed.
    • Confirm appointments with patients, update insurance details, and explain financial responsibilities.
    • Organize and file patient consents and documentation.
    • Aid in collecting patient payments.
    • Effectively communicate with insurance providers, pharmacies, and patients regarding coverage and authorizations.
    • Verify patient eligibility and benefits promptly.
    • Ensure accurate medical documentation is available before authorization submissions.
    • Follow up on authorization progress and communicate denials appropriately.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation is complete for insurance billing.
    • Maintain efficient turnaround times for patient scheduling.

    Requirements

    • 2 years' experience in Ambulatory Infusion or Medical Office settings preferred.
    • Background in EHR/EMR systems, medical verifications, and authorizations.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
    • Strong problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills.
    • Excellent time and organizational management abilities.
