    Role Summary:

The Control Solutions Specialist is a pivotal role in building the process control system level understanding and capabilities in the existing downstream industries and emerging technology areas of hydrogen economy, advanced plastic and various decarbonization initiatives.

As countries around the globe begin to adopt decarbonization at scale and shift from dependency on carbon-based fuels to cleaner sources, Flowserve intends to see itself as complete solution provider in certain niche areas within the ecosystem and migrate from a traditional role of an original equipment manufacturer. The incumbent will be a key resource to help us deliver on that intended strategy, combining deep control system design and project development expertise with a savvy approach to understanding of customer needs and gaps in the existing execution methodologies.

This value-driven technical professional will embrace and model Flowserve's core values of People, Safety, Integrity, Innovation, Ownership and Excellence and operate as an effective coach/influencer, capable of building a legacy of knowledge within the organization to ensure Flowserve becomes and remains a leader in the flow control systems space for existing and emerging markets. This role is intended to incubate the control system design and execution expertise in tandem with the process engineering function that can grow in scale with time and across the breadth of Flowserve's end market. The position offers significant opportunities to grow as a technical expert with a deep and valuable understanding of continuous value creation within the market including:
