    Description

    A public accounting firm in Pennsylvania is actively seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their staff as their new International Tax Senior / Manager. In this role, the International Tax Senior / Manager will be responsible for performing advanced inbound and outbound tax return review for individuals and trusts' international information returns.

    Responsibilities

    The International Tax Senior / Manager:

    • Advise individuals on tax planning decisions, including income tax treaty planning for cross-border transactions and U.S. estate and gift tax planning and foreign trust planning
    • Research and draft memoranda on various international tax matters
    • Review legal documents related to US estate and gift tax planning and foreign trust planning
    • Review complex quantitative analyses, modeling and projections
    • Interact and coordinates with Managers, Directors, Partners, and clients to ensure timeliness and effective communication on an engagement
    • Perform other duties, as needed
    Qualifications
    • 7+ years of experience in a Public Accounting and/or Law firm
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Background in International Corporate, Partnership, and Individual Taxation
    • Knowledge of a broad range of International Tax law provisions
    • Proficient in CCH Axcess tax software, Caseware, etc.
    • Expertise in Tax research software (Bloomberg BNA, RIA Checkpoint, Intelliconnect)
    • Microsoft Office proficient
    • Solid analytical skills
    • Great interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Highly organized
    Desired Skills:
    • Master's Degree Taxation
    • CPA or parts passed
    • CPA or member of state Bar; Masters in Taxation, JD, and/or LL.M (with a concentration in tax)
