Description
The Program Coordinator is integral to a team that provides communication, programming, and services to encourage the successful transition of all first-year students to Tulane University.
Specifically, this position supports the first-year experience team in the planning and execution of year-long orientation initiatives designed to promote the success of all first-year students, to root them in the academic campus culture, and to improve student persistence.
Additionally, the Program Coordinator oversees the hiring, training, and leadership development of 125+ orientation leaders and 15 student directors in support of fall and spring orientation.
Lastly, this position considers specific programs and responses to student retention interventions and known populations of concern.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
This position is classified as "exempt, salaried" and is assigned to pay grade 23.
