Position Summary
Reporting to the Machine Shop Manager, the CNC Machine Operator plays a pivotal role in the manufacturing environment by ensuring CNC machines are inspected, programmed, and function properly.
At Parker, you will cultivate a strong culture by participating in High Performance Teams and operating in a LEAN structure.
Position SummaryInspect and evaluate equipment and product through various tools, calipers, and items.
Follow proper documentation and reporting standards to ensure data is recorded and escalated accordingly.
Operate CNC Machines and routers with Master Cam software.
Communicate well between departments to notify leaders and engineers to troubleshoot issues.
Work cross functionally to support company LEAN and High Performance team objectives and initiatives to promote company culture.
Prioritize and multi-task work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
Use appropriate PPE for designated areas.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
GED or High School Diploma required.
4+ years of hands-on machine shop or related education/ training and combination manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to perform basic math, reading, writing and computer skills such as basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and use of Microsoft Office.
Ability to lift and or move up to 40 lbs.
