- Offering supportive counseling
- Handling crisis situations
- Organizing recreational and social activities
- Reporting significant changes in clients' behaviors and incidents to the appropriate team leader
- Documenting information on client charts
- Advocating for community resources
- Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment while following safety standards, government regulations, and company policies
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in mental health or a related human services field OR a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience
- Alternatively, a combination of college education and work experience totaling 4 years
- If the Bachelor's degree is not in the human services field, a minimum of 1 year of related work experience is required
- Additional qualifications may include an RN or LPN with 2 years of relevant experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum age of 21
- Successful completion of a physical exam, drug screening, and background check
