- Place timely and accurate purchase orders
- Partner with suppliers to influence on-time deliveries
- Achieve cost savings by aligning shipments with projected cost increases and decreases
- Balance supply on hand with price breaks and economic reorder quantities
- Identify alternative product options to diminish supply outages
- Approve alternative service options, such as cross-docking, future release orders, drop ships
- Collaborate with Sourcing Specialists and Demand Planners on new items and customer-specific stocking requests
- Oversee customer stocking agreements expiration dates and renewals
- Research and resolve stock discrepancies
- Drive continuous improvements to optimize replenishment and delivery efficiencies, and effectively communicate solutions to leadership
- Provide packaging consultants and customer service representatives customized inventory
- Supply vendor demand projections reports, identify and resolve potential issues in fulfilling needed requirements
- Prepare and monitor packaging consultants monthly aged inventory reports
- Manage Inventory Planning and Replenishment group email box to provide company-wide supply-related support
- Assist with bi-annual per site physical inventory and cycle counts
- Proactively establish and maintain highly effective and respectful relationships with all support departments and management
- Build superior relationships by actively demonstrating collaboration; employing excellent problem solving and savvy interpersonal skills to ensure competitive positioning and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree in related field or 3+ years' experience in replenishment / planning role
- Significant experience and knowledge of ERP systems, Epicor Kinetics preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical competency
- Multi-tasking abilities and flexibility in active, dynamic environment
