Description

The Production Scheduler / Planner is responsible for developing and communicating the production plan and finished goods transfer schedule ((i.e., the demand planning of finished goods inventory and raw materials) to production and engineering, considering machine capacity, material availability, and workforce capability.

The Production Scheduler / Planner will be responsible for managing the overall health of the raw material inventory to maintain a high level of service.


Key Job Responsibilities

  • Review and maintain ERP data integrity, including production routings and bill of material accuracy.
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring a consistent supply of products to match the market demand for Steward's products.
  • Work closely with production teams to streamline processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.

- interact with Sales to confirm project specifications and delivery dates and obtain any necessary information to ensure successful job completion.

  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of job orders and schedules.
  • Effectively communicate changes to the production schedule to all stakeholders, including management.
  • Perform other related functions as required to achieve departmental and company goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • BS degree in Business or Engineering or a related field and 13 years of manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems, which must include the following areas: MRP process, Production Planning, BOM, Purchasing, and Warehouse / Inventory Management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and ability in Microsoft Suite
  • Independent problemsolving skills/resourcefulness are required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Accuracy and timeliness are critical.

Pay:
$ $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
